*Big thank you to Influenster and Hollister for sponsoring this post! And of course, thank you to all of you for reading!
Guys, being a petite girl is HARD. I’m topping at 4’10” and clothes shopping is a constant struggle. For instance, did you guys know I almost bought my prom dress from the children’s section at Von Maur? That’s right, none of the sample sizes – even 00 – fit me enough at actual prom dress shops. And jeans? Don’t even get me started. I have long legs and 0 hips, so it is a miracle to find jeans I don’t have to have tailored. Luckily, with the help of Influenster, Hollister has my back.
Skinny jeans are my absolute favorite. They’re so flattering on me, and create curves I definitely don’t have. Plus, I’ve needed a pair of light jeans to pair with this top from American Eagle, because I feel dark tops look SO much better with light bottoms. But of course, that’s my personal opinion! I do tend to prefer a darker wash jean about 90% of the time, mostly because it makes your legs look longer. You can only imagine how excited I was when I received my VoxBox and opened it up to find these!
My favorite detailing on jeans are rips. They look casual but so high-end at the same time! Does that make sense? I love everything about this pair of jeans – the wash, the rips, and especially the fit. These jeans are incredible, they aren’t loose in my waist, thighs, or calves, and to have all of those at once is enough to make me cry.
The best part about these jeans?
Right now, they’re only $25.
At a $60 original price, $25 is a steal – that’s two pairs of bomb-a** jeans for the price of one!
Another great thing about this pair of jeans is that they’re easy to work with. What I mean is, I often am found wearing flats or my Keds, so I don’t need to roll my jeans up. The ankle of these jeans fits perfectly enough so that it’s not baggy when wearing them unrolled, which also means it would be easy to tuck into tall boots, like my pink Hunters. However, when I’m wearing booties, like these boots from Madden Girl, it’s also easy to roll them up without cutting off the circulation to my calves, something that seems to be a constant problem for me.
The reason for this is usually because if I buy jeans that fit my legs, the waist is too big. I have a hatred for belts that aren’t for decorative purposes, so I usually buy jeans that fit in the waist. The downside is that, while the jeans themselves aren’t uncomfortable, if I try to roll them up, it tends to get too tight for comfort. I don’t have that problem with this pair though!
these jeans can do absolutely no wrong. And they definitely take the prize for the best pair of denim I’ve ever owned.
