Happy Holidays dolls!

Who’s ready for my countdown to Christmas? I’ll be sharing crafts, recipes, beauty, and fashion, for the next week! And you get a special bonus week to prep for the new year, so I hope you’re excited!

Now I don’t know about you, but whenever I think of the holiday season, my mind instantly goes to the holiday parties. Whether it’s a close-knit family get together, or a business gala, there’s a dress for every event, every budget, and every body type. As a petite girl, I know the struggle of finding something flattering during this time of year, especially nice dresses, which are tailored and shown on models usually 5’6” and up. But don’t worry, I’m here to make sure you can dream of a white Christmas in style.

Under $100

If you’re budget is under $100, your dress options probably won’t be the most extravagant, but they will be the most versatile! The red pencil dress is perfect because it would be so easy to dress up, but it’s simple enough to wear on its own for everyday life.

Under $150

Ok, yeah, I’m head-over-heels for the taffeta Jessica Howard party dress. I mean, it’s pink, it sparkles, and it has a bow! I do adore the chiffon yoke on the red dress though, I think it makes it much more interesting!

Under $250

I think black is such a classy color, and perfect for an occasion dress. Yes, the holidays are all about the red and green (plus other multitudes of color) but if you’re going to buy a party dress, I feel it’s best to stick with neutrals. (That is, of course, unless you have other red or green items in your closet to match your new purchase. In which case, go crazy girl!) I especially love the velvet dot dress, because I feel velvet is an essential for the holidays.

$300 and up

If you’re buying a dress over $300, you’re probably going to be wearing it more than once, so quality is key. My favorite dresses are by far Kate Spade, the style is so fun and flirty and the designs range from classic to totally unique! They’re perfect for anything from casual family events to your New Year’s party. (And lets be honest, I’m a sucker for sequins and capes.)

I can’t believe there’s only a week until Christmas! Who has plans? I know I don’t, but I’m planning to enjoy every minute at home, finally free of the stress caused by finals! Hm, that gives me an idea! If you’re attending a holiday party soon, post a photo of your outfit on Instagram and tag it #stellardollyxmas ! I might even share your outfit in a future post! Happy Holidays!

The struggle is real when it comes to finding petite friendly dresses. I hate when mini dresses end up going up to my knees 🙁 Love all your picks! That gold Kate Spade one with the mock neck is soo gorgeous 🙂

I know! I mean, at least they’ll never be too short, but all my mini dresses look like maxi dresses sometimes! (I was shopping for dresses in the older kids’ section for my Freshman homecoming! D: ) Isn’t it darling?! I cant vouch for how comfortable it might be with all the sequins, but uh, beauty is pain right? ;D
